Trebuchets are the strongest attack weapons you can produce. Your opponent will be pretty much harmless against these mean machines.
On the other hand, they are the slowest units, take very long to be made, take lots of barracks space and are of the first to be destroyed in a fight. If not wasted in battles, can be very useful to smash huge cities into dust.
